About the Doctor

Peter Podbielski graduated from New York Institute of Technology with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree after a career as a Physical Therapist Assistant, soccer coach, and runner/athlete.

His professional accreditations include membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), a professional organization aimed at improving physical therapist practice, education and research.  Peter is also a member of the association’s local Arizona chapter (APTAAZ).

In addition to his comprehensive physical therapy work, he has received advanced training in the John F. Barne’s Myofascial Release approach and treats complex pain issues including postural issues, scoliosis and common musculoskeletal injuries. He is an expert MFR practitioner as well as an instructor. He has completed courses in the Redcord Education Program.

Since 1992, Peter has used his professional experience to treat athletes of different specialties, including track and field runners, coaches, soccer players, and ultra-marathon runners (assisting during Sparthatlon in Greece and Badwater in Death Valley).

His extensive experience in fitness and corrective exercise brings a unique range to his treatment approach – structuring patient programs according to their individual needs and preferences and encouraging exploration of complementary approaches to healing.

Peter lives in Phoenix with his wife Ania, daughter Alexandra, sons Adam and Daniel, and dog Vinny. In his leisure time, he enjoys meditation, yoga, Pilates, hiking, and soccer.

About Complete Physical Therapy

Complete Physical Therapy is a boutique- style, independently owned practice that has been serving patients in the West Valley and across the Phoenix metro area since 2008. Our approach centers on Myofascial Release therapy: a gentle, hands-on technique that addresses both acute and chronic pain with lasting results. Unlike many larger practices, we prioritize extended one-on-one time with each patient, allowing us to customize care and support long-term healing and recovery. We treat a variety of different conditions: from plantar fasciitis to vertigo, post surgery rehabilitation, work and car accident related injury.
