Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release (MFR) is a powerful tool utilized by a select number of skilled therapists with issues such as chronic pain, postural imbalance, back pain, neck pain, TMJ dysfunction, plantar fasciitis, fibromyalgia, and many more.
Myofascial Release is a hands-on technique that facilitates a stretch into soft tissue. The tissue will undergo histological length changes, allowing series of releases.
By elongating the fascial system the therapist may restore the efficiency of the neuromuscular elements of the tissue thereby restoring the natural abilities of coordination, strength, power and urestricted motion to our bodies.

Cranio Sacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the function of the craniosacral system. It involves light pressure involving the cranial and sacral areas, the trunk, neck and extremities. The practitioner releases restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system.  This therapy is very beneficial for people suffering from migraines, chronic neck and back pain, motor-coordination impairments, colic, autism, scoliosis, chronic fatigue issues and fibromyalgia. There are considerable benefits to practitioners and clients who combine John F. Barnes’s Myofascial Release (MFR) approach with Craniosacral Therapy. CST combined with MFR therapy can enhance the body’s natural healing process.

Physical Therapy

Complete Physical Therapy is a physical therapist–owned practice, whose primary mission is to provide therapy with John F. Barnes Myofascial Release approach. We help patients with conditions that affect movement, function, health and wellness.
The first visit called evaluation includes standard orthopedic and neurologic tests, however, the focus of the examination is on the impairments that contribute to the underlying biomechanical cause of the symptoms. Based on initial examination findings we develop custom supervised exercise programs and carry patient through a step by step process of rehabilitation.
As the patient learns properly his exercise routine, more complicated and functional movements are introduced to the program, eventually restoring function to the best of the patient’s capabilities and lifestyle requirements. In order to optimize and expedite recovery we instruct patient in a home exercise program to be done at home.
During consecutive visits we provide One-on-One treatments. We are particularly concerned with the habitual postures and repeated movement patterns that contribute to the development of the current condition.
We help patients to find relief from pain and get moving again after an accident, trauma, injury, illness or surgery in a very comfortable and personable atmosphere.

Redcord Therapy

Complete Physical Therapy offers advanced innovative stabilization exercise technique with a suspension system- Redcord.
Redcord equipment consists of suspension ropes, harnesses and slings.
The therapist identifies muscle imbalances and then successfully activates deep stabilizing muscles in the core and joints.
Unweighted with bungees and slings, patients are able to exercise in just about any position and in a safe and completely painless manner.
Redcord emphasizes corrective exercises with high levels of neuromuscular stimulation to restore core strength, joint stability, and muscles function.

Pilates

Complete Physical Therapy uses the Pilates reformer as a method of rehabilitation.
Pilates is a unique system of stretching and strengthening exercises. Exercises on the Pilates reformer increase abdominal and back strength, correct alignment and posture, and increase the patients’ awareness of their body movements and balance. Pilates help gain flexibility in major joints, as well as stabilizing the spine. It is also used for sport conditioning.
